Job Description
Senior Java Developer to join our agile team and work on the industry’s fastest growing customer service application for the web. Help us build out our vision which includes a variety of complex and interesting technology challenges.
Skill and Experience Requirements for Core Responsibilities
- High energy, hands on, self-motivated, startup personality with a passion for excellence.
- Been there, done that, or knows how to find out really fast.
- 5 years with Java and advanced Javascript
- Hibernate or other POJO to relational database mapping toolkits
- JEE – servlets, JSP, JSTL, and session management
- XML and XPath APIs
- SQL / MySQL
- Experience leveraging open source toolkits and libraries
- Able to analyze/characterize performance and scalability of algorithms and systems
- Exposure to operational and production realities of SaaS or Web applications a plus.
- Knowledge of internationalization issues, including at least handling of character encoding
- Experience with reporting and analytics a plus
- Fluent in Linux/Unix and Windows
